- The boards come in a number of shapes and sizes, but you can easily use a square one for this project. Just rotate it so that it is diamond-shaped before you start placing your beads. However, you could use a hexagonal one.
- Lay your beads on the board as per the pattern below. Note that the pattern is reversed. This is because you are working on the reverse of the finished project.
- You may need to ask mum or dad to help you with this bit because once you have placed all your beads and you are happy with the design, place a sheet of greaseproof paper over the beads (otherwise you'll just melt them onto the iron and get mum or dad steaming!) and then gently iron the beads down. They will slowly melt and fuse together. Be careful not to overdo it though.
